YOYOYOYO the summer is just getting warmed up. It has been a pretty productive June amping up for the heart of the season. As you can see I gave the blog a bit of a facelift. I hope you likey. July will be a poster month for me. My calendar is quickly filling up with lots of fun stuff. Check out the schedule section for info.
This month I recently was selected to be Guess?'s in store DJ at the King of Prussia Mall. I will make my debut July 2nd. I am very excited about this gig. I'll be rocking for customers during the day on the weekends this summer.
I also changed the Wednesday party at Raven Lounge from The WORKOUT to No Pop! (peep the poster to your right). This was a branding decision I made to unify the two parties that were already going on. Now, you get two floors, 2 DJs and amazing music provided by Brian Barker and myself. The WORKOUT party isn't gone, it's just taking a break.
Speaking of The WORKOUT, The WORKOUT II mixtape was released under the radar yesterday with an official release push tonight. The WORKOUT will continue as a monthly mixtape series for the time being. You can download it here.
My open.source co-member Steven Zika and I have teamed up to form the production and DJ duo Major Lazy. We'll be posting dates, tracks and info to http://majorlazy.tumblr.com. Check that out. Look for our first official release soon.
